What are some responsibilities of an applicant agency?

Applicant agencies must not share criminal record history unless they are given permission (by DOJ).  

Information must be confidential.  

The release of information will result in fines under California Penal Code 11142 and 11143.  

Applicant agencies must destroy criminal history record information once the business need is finished.
